Dosage and direction

Missed dose

Overdose
Symptoms: severe hypotension, tachycardia, fluid retention, pulmonary edema. Management: gastric lavage if recent ingestion, activated charcoal if appropriate. Supportive care including IV fluids and vasopressors for hypotension. Beta-blockers may be used to control tachycardia. Hemodialysis is not effective due to high protein binding. Patients require intensive cardiac monitoring and supportive care in a hospital setting.
Storage
