Dosage and direction

Nasal Spray: A single spray (5 mg or 20 mg) administered in one nostril. If headache recurs, a second dose may be used after 2 hours, not exceeding 40 mg in 24 hours.
Injection: A single 6 mg subcutaneous injection; if headache returns, a second 6 mg dose may be administered after at least 1 hour, not to exceed 12 mg in 24 hours.
Always use the smallest effective dose. Do not crush or split tablets. Administer nasal spray without inhaling deeply. For injection, use in the thigh or outer upper arm; avoid bony areas.
Precautions
- Use only with a clear diagnosis of migraine; not for other types of headaches.
- Do not exceed recommended dosage due to increased risk of adverse effects.
